The Pharmacy Coffee

The Montgomery Building was built in 1925 and is an iconic piece of Spartanburg’s rich history. When the opportunity came knocking to put a shop in the Montgomery Building we jumped at the opportunity but we knew that we had to give Spartanburg something a little different from the Little River Coffee Bar. We chose the name ‘Pharmacy’ based off of the building’s history and the pharmacy soda counter culture of the time. We borrowed from Art Deco and mid-century Modern themes as well as contemporary styles in the coffee world for the shop’s aesthetic. The Pharmacy offers coffees and brewing methods that are only available at this shop and features a terroir based approach to our coffees that is often described as “third wave coffee”. In addition to great coffee, we also offer, an array of bottled drinks, kombucha on tap, teas, house made sandwiches and toasts and daily baked goods from our very own bakery!
